OUR POLICIES

Changes and/or Cancellations:

  • All changes and/or cancellations must be made no later than 72 hours prior to the date of check-in (Three days before date of arrival, by 3:00pm). Any and all cancellations made outside of the 72 hour grace period will result in full charges for all nights cancelled plus tax. Please be aware that all check-outs made before the scheduled date of departure without 72 hours notice prior to the check-in date, will result in full charges for all days of the reservation left unused.
  • In the unfortunate event that an emergency arises and you are unable to fulfill your reservation, please notify the Inn as soon as possible. We ask that you please provide documentation of your emergency to the Inn within one week’s time. After the one week grace period, all cancellation fees will be applied.

Check-in/Check-out Times:

  • Check-in time is 3:00pm or later. Because we want to provide a clean and sanitary room for our guests, early check-ins are just not possible.
  • Check-out time is 12 Noon. Please contact our Reservations Desk to schedule a late check-out (no later than 1:00pm) if one is necessary, and we would be more than happy to schedule one if it is at all possible. There will be a $50.00 fee for any check-outs made after 1:00pm and a full nights charge for any and all check-outs made after 2:00pm.


Room Reservations:

** PLEASE NOTE: It may be necessary to move your room reservation to a comparable or upgraded room without prior notice
  • We book guest rooms according to category and guarantee that guests will receive a room in the category selected. (i.e., Standard, Mini Suite or Full Suite) Some situations call for a guest to receive a complimentary upgrade, in which there would be no additional charge.
  • Our guest room rates are based on double occupancy. There will be a $20.00 per night charge for all guests above double occupancy.

Policies for IBM guests:

  • The IBM Corporate rate is $105.00 for a standard guest room and is valid for IBM guests on IBM business only. The rate if $125.00 for a standard guest room will be given to all guests of IBM (those companies that work closely and are associated with IBM itself). An IBM badge matching the name on the reservation must be shown at time of check-in. If one cannot be provided, the IBM Corporate rate of $105.00 will be negated and full rack room rates will apply. Please call our Reservations desk to inquire about special IBM employee rates for non IBM business. Cancellation for individual IBM reservations on business is 6:00pm same day as arrival. For group bookings of three guest rooms or more, cancellation must then be made 72 hours prior to the date of arrival. For IBM guests that are not on IBM business, our standard 72 hour cancellation policy would apply.

Credit Card Authorization:

  • At the time of check-in, an authorization will be run on a credit card for any incidentals. If you do not wish to have your credit card authorized in the amount of $150.00, a cash deposit of $150.00 will be held at our front desk and will be returned to you at the time of check-out, once the guest room is been inspected by an Inn employee.

Smoking:

  • Smoking is not permitted in any of our non-smoking rooms. If you book a non-smoking room, you will be asked to sign and date a copy of our non-smoking policy which states that if any evidence of smoking is found in your non-smoking guest room, a fee of $150.00 per night of your reservation will be added to your guest room rate. If you require a smoking room, please request one at the time of booking your reservation. Guests are permitted to smoke at the front of our building and also on our terrace, which overlooks Wappingers Creek.

Pets:

  • Pets are welcome at the Inn at the Falls, however, guests with pets must be booked in a smoking room and a pet fee of $75.00 per night will be added to your guest room rate. If any evidence of having a pet in a non-smoking room is found, a fee of $150.00 per night will be incurred.

Conference/Game Room:

  • Guests are more than welcome to use our conference/game room at their leisure, provided a private event is not being held in the room and that it is left in the same condition found. For large group bookings such as weddings, the same policy would apply, however, if the room is not left as it was found, a cleaning and resetting fee of $150.00 will apply and the guest who originally booked the group reservation will be charged $100 per hour (the standard hourly rate to rent the conference/game room) for the length of time the room was used by the party.
